Privacy policy

This is a small games site. We collect as little as we can and nothing we do not use.

What we store

A random identifier in a cookie so your browser is recognised on your next visit — it holds your rolls, streak, badges and leaderboard position. Optionally a display name you type. If you sign in with Google, your name, email address and profile picture from Google, used only to link your progress to an account and show your avatar. Captions you add to rolls and likes you give are public.

What we do not store

No passwords (sign-in is handled by Google), no payment details, no precise location. Rolls are generated on our server; nothing you type into the game is sent to third parties.

Analytics

We use two analytics tools to understand how the site is used: a self-hosted Umami instance (no cookies, IP addresses are hashed, honours Do Not Track) and Google Analytics 4 (uses cookies; IP anonymisation enabled). Neither is used for advertising.

Cookies

The player identifier described above, a session cookie when you sign in, and Google Analytics cookies. That is all.

Sharing

Roll pages and cards you share (dlegame.com/r/… and rngdlegame.com/r/…) are public by design and show your display name, caption and result.

Your data

To remove your account, rolls or captions, or to ask what we hold about you, email hello@dlegame.com from the address you signed in with. Clearing your browser's cookies also detaches it from your anonymous player.
